The Clarke's
Kevin and Leona
|
Raised in a Christian home, Kevin was saved at the age of 10. In the summer of 1971, he met Leona Jollymore while she was teaching DVBS.
Three years later, he graduated from the New Brunswick Instuite of Technology. Leona graduated from the Moncton School of Nursing in 1975, and they were married the same year. God has blessed them with two lovely daughters.
The Clarkes were actively involved in Awana in their church when they sensed God's call to full-time ministry with young people. In March 1985, He opened the door for them to serve the churches in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario which they did for 18 years. Early in 2003, Kevin & Leona followed God's call to return 'home' to Atlantic Canada and serve as the 'new' Awana Missionaries.

The Manuel's
Shant and Ginny
|
Shant came to Canada from India in 1973 and spent three years as a student at Atlantic Baptist College in Moncton, NB. There he met Ginny from Port Maitland, NS who he married in 1976. After graduating with his BA in Sociology from Saint Thomas University in Fredericton in 1981, he sensed a call to full time ministry. This took them to Acadia Divinity College in Wolfville, where he eventually completed a Master of Divinity degree in 1985 and a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2001. Shant and Ginny have two grown children, Christa (Blanchette) and Benjamin, and live in Upper Hammonds Plains.
In the past year and a half they have been busy establishing a new mission called Far Corners Ministry (FCM). Shant has felt led of God to provide training opportunities to needy pastors and church workers in Northeast India, namely the states of West Bengal and Sikkim. This has already started with Shant taking small teams of Atlantic Canadians on short term training trips and conducting leadership conferences.
